Our Client is a very well established and French managed perfumery company which is rapidly expanding. The company is looking for an enthusiastic HR Director to join its dynamic and passionate team and support the company growth.

Objective:
The candidate will be responsible for all HR activities of the company (36 employees as December, 2022).
This new role is a great opportunity for a senior HR profile willing to scale up and structure the HR function to support the company growth and maintain the right level of staff engagement. This position requires the employee to work on part-time basis (50% or 2.5 days per week) from their office.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS REQUIRED:

10+ years of HR experience,
HR Director /Senior HR Manager previous experience with full scope and ownership of HR activities
• Middle East working experience required (ideally in the UAE)
• Master’s Degree or MBA with major in Human Resources.

SCOPE OF WORK:
Overall management and responsibility of the HR activities for the company:
Job Objectives
HR STRATEGY
 
  • Define HR strategy aligned with the overall business strategy and select the key HR initiatives to ensure the necessary roll out and staff engagement.
HR PROCESSES
 
  • Identify the future mid /long term staffing needs, manage the recruitment and selection process, and ensure talent pipeline creation,
  • Define an on-boarding process for new-joinees ensuring involvement of line managers and all required Departments,
  • Lead the annual compensation review process,
  • Oversee and manage the annual performance review process to drive performance and ensure regular and constructive dialogue between managers and their direct reports,
  • Assess training needs to build an annual training plan and ensure corresponding roll out,
HR GUIDANCE, IMPROVEMENT & PERFORMANCE
 
  • Establish trustful relationships enabling to counsel and guide managers on HR related matters,
  • Define the HR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to be followed monthly, quarterly, or annually and define corresponding action plans with management,
  • Propose key business process improvement initiatives to reduce time spent on transactional HR activities,
  • Propose initiatives to create staff engagement and maintain a constructive and positive team spirit and dynamic.
ADMINISTRATION & PAYROLL
 
Provide guidance and support to the HR & Administration manager in the completion of her/his tasks:
 
  • Ensure HR procedures are updated and communicated to employees
  • Prepare monthly payroll and liaise with Finance for processing
  • Ensure HR letters are issued on time with right level of authorized signatories and maintain updated and accurate HR files
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR activities and monitore any change of labor law and regulations
  • Manage the interfaces with the Medical insurance company
  • Manage visas.
