Our client is seeking to fill the position of Senior Information Manager. In this highly strategic position, the position holder will have a unique opportunity to become the sparring partner of the management team. With a group mandate, the position will have a unique opportunity to formulate an innovative information vision and drive the overall digitalization strategy.

Given the geographical scope of the role, international travel should be expected, including business travels over periods of longer duration.

Overall purpose of the job:
The Senior Information Manager (SIM) is overall responsible for executing the digitalization strategy, as well as delivering a strong and compliant business performance across the information areas of IT. The responsibility covers definition of the IT strategy, as well as strong stakeholder management, implementation, adherence to and continuous reviewing of the strategy.

Key Tasks
  • Defining, successfully implementing and continually reviewing the information strategy to support the greater corporate strategy
  • Preparing the company information road map, taking into account customer requirements, process optimization, market changes and technological developments
  • Business stakeholder management, incl. functional managers, users, customers, and key suppliers
  • Deliver specific business cases on the recommended changes
  • Ensuring the IT team delivers to a high standard and consistently achieve SLAs and KPIs, fostering a culture of excellent customer service across the business and teamwork across all IT functions and worldwide locations.
  • Lead our digitalization journey ensuring the company achieves the highest levels of automation and scalability
  • Facilitate access to reliable and actionable data in an efficient manner, allowing the business to make sound and timely decisions.
  • Collaborate with shareholder resources on matters such as network, IT infrastructure, security etc.
  • Ensure all data driven solutions are aligned to the business needs by understanding and facilitating the inform needs of by the departments and company offices.
  • Ensuring the company obtains and maintains a market leading position, as the best-in-class logistics information provider
  • Managing the relevant IT vendor relationships
  • Ensure all information solutions are aligned to corporate governance and standards.
  • Leading ad-hoc IT projects to support the planned expansion of the business.
  • Stay informed about the newest technologies and interpret their usage for the company, incl. IOT, robotics, etc.
  • Ensure proper access security, data backup and recovery for all company systems
  • Provides strategic, expert advice and consultation on the design and implementation of effective IT Solutions.
  • Maintain inventory of all computer equipment (hardware) and application(software) and ensure the correct licensing of all products.
