On behalf of our client, a very reputable and growing US company, we are recruiting an AWS Solutions Architect (AWS)

You are Solutions Architect with extensive experience using AWS and cloud applications. You will provide ongoing recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency. You work to understand the customer's needs with the CTO and give prescriptive guidance on how to create solutions with AWS technology.

You will participate and lead activities such as technical account planning, architecture reviews, white-boarding sessions, demos, and technical workshops. You will collaborate with other technical teams such as product engineering, professional services, support, product teams.

In this role you will get to practice your creativity, linking technology to tangible solutions. You will have the opportunity to implement cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases.

Responsibilities 
Lead Enterprise Architecture definition and develop Technology Reference Architecture, decision criteria and patterns including guidelines for designing and developing target state technology capabilities 

•    Work with CTO, business architects and leaders to provide and innovate capabilities,  assessing capability maturity, defining forward looking roadmap and investment prioritization
•    Establish relationships with architects, peers, developers and stakeholder groups within IT and business teams to define and communicate the target architecture, solution design and transformation plans for assigned initiatives
•    Create and maintain the enterprise architecture application and data landscape to reflect target architectures and initiative outcomes
•    High-energy, robust, and resilient, able to perform well under pressure
•    Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data; summarize findings, derive conclusions, and present recommendations.
•    Act with integrity, tact, and diplomacy to formulate trust at all levels

 You will have:
 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications or infrastructures
 •    8+ years within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
•    8+ years design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications
•    5+ years of experience in networking; infrastructure, analytics, or database architecture
•    Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
•    Exceptional communicating skills across internal and external organizations
•    B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
•    10+ years’ experience in either Enterprise software, systems, or enterprise architecture subject areas
•    Experience clearly defining and maintaining business capabilities and technical architecture (current and future state diagrams, solution best practices, reference architectures, design patterns)
•    Hands-on experience working with cloud/SaaS applications and data integration platforms, tools, and design patterns
•    Extensive experience collaborating with IT and Business leadership to define and align enterprise architecture to strategic plans and commercial objectives
•    Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify and clearly communicate complex technical concepts and information to diverse audiences with varying degrees of technical understanding.
