• Planning of operations to loading and unload vehicles from vessels.
• Focal point between the official on the vessel and port personnel.
• Responsible for monitoring of the Stevedores.
• Ensuring streamlined vessel operations
• Ensure reporting of vessel operation on timely manner

SECTION III: KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Educational and Technical Qualifications:
UAE Driving licenses is a must
Language Skills: English is a must and other languages are preferred.
Years of Experience: 3-5 years in similar Position
Nature of Experience: Logistics, Maritime, Shipping lines

SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES












Key Responsibilities:
  • Adherence with Quality, the environment and security process and ensure compliance with all manuals, procedures and workplace instructions in relation to quality, the environment safety and security.
  • Inform the persons responsible for quality, the environment and security of changes to the execution of tasks that affect procedures and instructions.
  • Lead the pre-meeting prior to the operation with the presence of the official and port captain of the ship owner to coordinate all sequences of the operation
  • Planning of operations to load/unload vehicles/High heavy and GC cargo from vessels and supervision of the operations adapting to the needs of each client.
  • Manage vessel operations from resource and equipment planning, gang booking, supervisor of stevedores during vessel operation, coordination with vessel management / agents and coordination with documentation team for reports
  • Support Operations Manager in their functions and assume the responsibilities inherent to their position during their absence.
  • Assist Operation manager in analysis and periodic reporting for management
